I have no clue what to name this post....Ferrocarril?

*Cue some sort of awesome sound*

Ok, it's been a while, I will freely admit that. There's been Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, a break-up and soon a birthday since I have last written. I've just been busy between working in tourism, trying to get financial aid for school in order, etc. I know, a very lousy excuse. But hey, I will admit I dropped the ball.

It  hasn't been completely unproductive though. At work, there are some Argentinian (Argentine? I'm going to go with Argentinian, even though I don't think it's the proper term) students that are working at the Mount Washington. First, I want to say that they are awesome. They have yerba mate as a social drink, they have Alfajores (which if you don't know what they are...THEY'RE AWESOME!) and they're incredibly generous. Seriously, they've been teaching me Spanish, and let's just say....I cannot roll my R's for the life of me. So, while they do have free entertainment, they're also highly forgiving of my linguistic failures. Hence why I chose the title I did. I cannot say that word for the life of me, I just know that it means railroad/train tracks. I also can't say Febrero. In essence, I can't speak Spanish unless I want to sound like a dumb American. Oh yay...

At least I've been catching up on my reading. The World is Flat by Thomas Friedman is really good by the way, if you're into globalization and geopolitics.Otherwise, go read Game of Thrones. Or if you're really lacking motivation to read, go with Curious George. Just throwing that out one there. But, I digress.

To get back on point, how is hanging out with Argentinians productive? Easy, I'm making friends. That can been quite a feat for me, considering I immediately come across as a hard ass, or as a likeable psycho. Yeah...but, once again, I digress.

Anyhow, I just got word that CNN is about to re-air the Republican Debate from last night, and I'm all for yelling at the TV telling politicians that their proposed policies are crap. Besides, Ron Paul is always fun to watch.I just feel bad for Jon Huntsman, he's the only intelligent one on that stage.

So, hopefully, I will be better about updating this blog in the future. But I won't make any promises on that one.
