13 Days From Now We're Supposed To Be Dead

Not really. And if you believe it...then we shall have a friend timeout. But that headline got your attention, didn't it?

Anyhow, I figured I'd update the world about my life right now, as I'm heading into the last week of classes and finals, so I may disappear from the internet.

So, last time I wrote, I was preparing for Omar's arrival to the United States. And now, he's here, which makes me incredibly happy like one could not believe. Seriously, Christmas came early for me. I can actually see him and not fight with Skype for half the night.

I'm also finishing up my capstone project (a.k.a., senior thesis), and when that thing's done, I'm dancing for friggin joy. I like the professor, but Jesus H. Christ, it's stressful. That's actually  been about 90 percent of my academic stress this semester, so when that's done, I'll be happy.

I'll also be happy for the break, as I won't have five, soon to be six jobs to contend with.

Yes, five. I counted them, and below, is the list:

1. HUB Building Manager
2. Tutoring some students.
3. Babysitting a pretty awesome kid
4. Doing some freelance PR work for a landlord
5. Being an Editor for The Clock

And what is number 6? Number 6 is my return to the Mount Washington Hotel.

If I had it my way, I'd have only one job. But alas, I'm paying for my bills myself, and I really don't feel like extending my student loans out any further than necessary. Between a car payment, electricity, cable and internet, gas, credit card bills and student loans, I need to work. It's just none of the jobs give me enough hours, since I'm in college and also have classes.

I need to graduate next semester. Actually, the ending of the world wouldn't be all that bad, as then I wouldn't have to worry about money. However, I like living a lot more.

Besides, I have my Spanish final that day, and I'd be pissed if I died during a final. That would be cruel indeed.

Anyway, I'm going to continue to work on projects and what not. Have a good weekend everyone.
